I just noticed a new Dollar Store - did they build over Pet Haven or just next to it?

This cemetery used to be beautiful (5 stars). It was well maintained and all graves had flowers. Mike Massaro was the caretaker at the time. It always looked so nice, people who had pets buried there would go out to visit their pets' graves and would occasionally pick up one of the rakes provided to tidy up a bit. When Mike passed away, the cemetery gradually deteriorated. No one took his place.

Hurricane Ivan caused considerable damage to the cemetery. Trees were uprooted, large branches broke off and some of the trees fell on the fence causing heavy damage. The former director of the Humane Society (S.H.) chose not to use funds to fix up Pet Haven. I understand that it can get expensive maintaining the cemetery, but I believe our cherished fur babies deserve a pleasant place to rest.

Please Note: As of the date of this review, our local news station reported that a major cleanup/fix-up job is currently underway at Pet Haven. Not sure exactly what's being done. I can't wait to see it!
