  This church, by far, is the most welcoming and loving place, with the most wonderful people, I have ever attended. I cannot say enough good things about the Sunday school classes, the services, and the people here!

  I would like to preface this review by disclosing that I do not subscribe to the brand of Chrisianity that appears to be saturating and poisoning our political scene. My Christianity is informed by a Jesus who welcomes all to his table. I appreciate a church that embraces education, intelligence, humor, and love as means to explore scripture. So, please keep this in mind as you read the following.
  
  I attended this church on several occasions as I assisted with my mother's terminal illness and finally her death. My family is highly dysfunctional, and this negatively impacted this very difficult time. I live on the other side of the country and had nowhere to turn for support and comfort. This church was there for me. It is a blessing because of the people who attend and because of their current minister, Rev Wachob. The Sunday school class I attended was comprised of the more liberal faction of the congregation, and they were warm, interesting, and committed to one another and to welcoming me. The Rev Wachob is a gifted speaker who presents his understanding of scripture, God, Jesus, Mary, etc. with deep thoughtfulness and appears to struggle for authenticity such that at times the sermon is 'uncomfortable' as it should be. He calls his congregation to attend to the business of discipleship with self reflection and courage. I thoroughly enjoyed and obtained comfort at this church as I experienced one of the most difficult times in my life. I recommend this church to any and all who seek a Jesus inspired church community.
